I have exactly the same problem and have tried everything that you have. If you disconnect the mapped NAS drives initially the NAS cannot be connected using UNC, but after a short while it will connect drivf then mapped drives can be reconnected. There is no need to reboot first.

I have a computer that runs Windows 10, I have a mapped drive to a network share, after I reboot my PC Windows Explorer display a red "X" on the icon of the mapped drive. However, if I try to access or browse the mapped drive, it reconnects quickly. It is not a big problem for me but I do have backup software running and when drive is disconnected I get an error message.
What can I do to prevent my network drive from disconnecting? A misconfiguration with the map network drive setting is possibly causing the connection issue. I would like to confirm how you mapped your network drive.

Was this reply helpful? Yes No. Sorry this didn't help. I was also experiencing the same issue. The drives open when double-clicked using File Explorer, but by this time most of the applications requiring network storage access have determined the location is not available.
After checking the event log I determined that my network adapter was disconnecting to renegotiate network to 1Gb. This is great for throughput but it was taking my network offline for 4 seconds see below details from the event log. I then checked my network adapter settings in Device Manager. After a few attempts, I changed "Set for Link" setting to on which changed the network card auto-negotiation behavior. Mapped drives I have personally mapped are disconnected after every sign in, and yes the 'Reconnect at sign-in' box is checked.

Your network adapter may not be Intel but the solution should be similar. Hope this helps. I've got the same issue which occurred after the update. I also have KB Mapped drives propagated by our AD reconnect without incident. This site in other languages x.
